Get answers to common questions about Bikini Line Wax.
We recommend about 1/4 inch (roughly 3–6 mm) of regrowth so the wax can grip. If hair is shorter, we may ask you to wait a few days for optimal results.
No—waxing removes hair from the root and typically results in softer, finer regrowth. With regular sessions many clients notice slower, less dense hair over months.
Some discomfort is normal but brief. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine, exfoliate beforehand, breathe during service, and consider a topical numbing product or gentle aftercare recommended by your esthetician.
Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth. Consistent scheduling helps maintain a tidy line and can make each session quicker and more comfortable.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, tight clothing, and heavy exercise for 24 hours. Use gentle cleanser, skip exfoliation for 48 hours, and apply a calming lotion to reduce irritation and prevent ingrown hairs.
Some medications like retinoids, blood thinners, or topical acne treatments increase sensitivity or bruising. Tell your esthetician about any meds—consult your doctor if unsure, and we can perform a patch test.
